Noise in wash cycle

I have a eco intuitive washer it seems make a grinding clicking noise when it is in the wash cycle is this normal

Further to this - the grinding noise you hear relates to the washer's computer "sensing" the wash load - it's perfectly normal and nothing to be worried about.

This is normal, because your washer will make sounds that you may not have heard from other washer.

are you using the pre soak cycle ? if so it wil start up after the soak time cycle is up.otherwise skip this function.

Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco switching itself off during cycle.


Could be a bad drain pump or controller or rotor position sensor. You will need a Tech to take a look. Unfortunately with these machines there can be many reasons for a failure. Call F/P to get a certified technician out there.

press power button press up button 2 times on option button to "wash advance" press adjust button to which ever rinse cycle youd like to use. press start.

it sounds like the bearings are going out as it spins faster the noise quietens down because the bearings are more spread out and as it slows they fall lower leaving an area that it causing "friction" of a kind
