Wii console help please !!

OK...this is killin me!

I'm trying to install my new wii fit. this is what happens. It won't synch at all - i've tried everything. So i think i need to upgrade the wii console software or firmware via my home wireless network. so...i click on "wii" in the bottom left corner, then on "wii settings".....

instead of giving me a menu it jumps straight to a white screen that says...
"you tried to access the address marc:fix/us/eng/index01.html which is currently unavailable. try re-loading the page"

i CANNOT get off this page - whatever I do. I've tried hitting reset, everything. Whatever I do I end up on this white page.....nothing happens.

What have I done? Something stupid? Help much appreciated !!

Trust me....I've unplugged it and re-plugged it 100 times. It's nothing to do with pressing random buttons - there aren't that many buttons on a Wii! And - yes I sure am trying to synch the Wii with the Wii Fit....but the problem I'm having is nothing to do with synching - cheers

You can only sync the Wii Board with the Wii AFTER you have installed the Wii Fit software. The software will prompt for you to turn on the Balance Board. At which time, press the power button on the board and it will sync :)

Unplug the wii and plug it in again. the system hardware might have been corrupted when you click on random buttons.

When I insert a disk into my wii console, it will accept the disk, make a clicking sound and then eject the disk. This happens with every wii game i've tried. Any suggestions?

my friend,Christina, had the same problem, but didn't handle it right. SHE threw it on the ground. Don't do that. Just take it into GameStop. Then you can either get it fixed, or you can trade it in for a new Wii.

Wii fit board won't work

Hello,

Here you have different procedures on what to do if you get that error message. Please get back to me if nothing works.

The exact procedure is:

• Even if the battery level is strong, try the following:

Remove the batteries in the Wii Fit Board for at least 1 minute…… better 15

Try these steps!

1 Turn the Wii console power OFF by pressing the POWER Button on the front of the console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for a few seconds. After a few seconds have elapsed, plug the cord back into the wall outlet.

2 Turn the power of the Wii console ON. When you see the Health and Safety screen, open the small flap on the front of the Wii console to find a red button labeled "SYNC." Press and hold the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This will clear all the syncs on the Wii, allowing you to get a clean start to begin the process described below.

3 After holding the SYNC Button on the Wii console down for at least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes:

a With the first Wii Remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote to find a small red button just below the batteries.

b Press and release the small red button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the blue lights on the front of the Wii Remote will blink.

c Quickly press and release the red SYNC button on the inside of the white flap on the front of the Wii console (picture).

d When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).

4 Start the game from the Wii Menu, then sync the Wii Balance Board from the opening screen of the game.

Hope it helped.

Has it always done this or did this just start happening? If this is the first time you are useing it try starting wii fit before trying to turn it on then you may have to sync it using the little sync button on the board and on the wii system,I hope this helps you, please leave me feedback as I am new to this site and am trying to build rep.

Wii fit board wont sync

Ok I feel a little silly, there is a sync button on the console (inside the flap by the power on button) and the board (inside the battery compartment on the underside of the board) as soon as I pressed them at the same time it worked. Goodluck everyone.

When new batteries have been put in both controllers of the wii, indicator lights supposed to indecate power level of batteries instead of which all blue lights flash then stop and nothing happens, no...

If all the lights are coming on then going off again the controller needs to be synched with the wii. Once it is synchronized after all the indicator lights flash one should stay on indicating which player you are (1 -4)
To synch a controller to the wii:
Make sure the wii is in
Open the battery cover on the wiimote
Open the front panel of the wii
Press the synch button on the console
Press the red synch button on the wii mote
Should work for you.
