There should be red green and blue cables out of the x-box, then look on the input of your system for an input with the same colors. Use that input to the x-box.

You should have a cable assy with your x-box that gives you yellow, red and white cables. Take the red and white into an input on the surround system.  Video, Aux or CD inputs would work.

Not sure how to connect surround system to tv

Hi
Look on the rear of the tv and there should be an audio out connection coloured red and white and this will be a phono connection ( 2 small holes one red and one white) using a phono lead connect this to the same connections on the surround system only this time this will be an audio in connection select the tv channel on the surround system and ensure the tv is on and off you go. Try this and see how you go.

Hi We have just bought a Panasonic Theatre Surround System SC-PCT560 and can only get it to work when a DVD is playing. We cannot get it to work with Sky or normal TV. Any ideas? Thanks, Julia

Hi,
You can have TV sound from your home theater system.
Download User Manual of SCPCT560 from Panasonic Support and go to page-7 for hook up procedure of TV sound out from home theater.
Thank you.

It works fine if you plug the surround system SCART lead into the AV2 input. I believe this is a 'smart' scart plug (same as SONY but it is not mentioned as in the literature). The AV1 is only good for inputs NOT outputs as well.
