Hi,

Try taking out the battery for a few hours to hard reset the camera. Do you see any damage on the camera?

My DSC-T10 Sony Digital Camera fell down and now the new pictures taken are coming Blurry (hazy). My old pictures in the memory stick shows perfect. Please advise what could have happened.

Hi,

Based on the information you've provided, it seems that the Lens Mechanism of the Camera is damaged when it fell down. The Lens of the Camera is not focusing properly while capturing the images. As the issue is with the lens mechanism, the previously captured images are displaying normally. I suggest that you try resetting the Camera and check if the issue can be resolved.

Performing a manual power reset

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

To reset the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the SET UP1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.

If the issue persists, service may be required.

Thanks for contacting FixYa.

My camera has fallen down, from then i m not able to capture pictures.. I can see menu but cant see & take photos. It is showing completely black display when I switch to camera mode.Model is Olympus...

My friend has a similar problem: screen works with menu, not for aking pictures.
I do not know if the camera fell.
It seems to me that the sensor might be disconnected or broken.
Could this help in finding the solution or further pinpointing the exact problem

Check on the keypad if you see a function key with a icon {picture} of a camera : to turn on press FN key and the key with the icon with the camera if no such function key then try this

To take pictures, perform the following
  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, then click Switch to Classic View in the left pane.
  2. Click Scanners and Cameras.
  3. Double-click USB2.0 PC camera. The Scanner and Camera wizard opens.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
To make movies, perform the following steps:
  1. Click Start, select All Programs, then click Windows Movie Maker.
  2. Click Capture from video device inside the Movie Task pane. The Video Capture Wizard opens.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen

Broken

Dear schmex,
It sounds like you have a broken LCD screen this shouldn't effect the image quality, but it might get worse over time and it will probably make it more difficult to compose the picture.

Still Pictures

the still pictures are actually single frame MPEG movies with 7 seconds of audio. You should capture them the same way you get movies off the tape into the PC and just capture the frame.

Can my camcorder work with imovie and if so how do i get my computer to get download my video?

Open iMovie and set it to capture DV. (Click the camera shaped icon opposed to the siscor scissor shape) When you see a blue screen that says (camera connected) and the image pops on screen of image from tape on camcorder set in play mode, you hit the import button and it begins to capture digital movie using DV compression of whatever you have on tape. You should be able to control your camcorder with the video controllers underneath the project window to make selections for the in and outpunts on the tape you wish to capture. Then switch to edit mode by clicking on the scissor button and import the movies you just captured or use them from the clips menu, etc. renedr movie back to tape, if you wish by clicking back and forth from edit mode (scissors) and capture mode (camera silo) and render to and from tape.
