Question about Emerson Fans Emerson SW90LA Control

Emerson SW90 light and fan switch question

The light goes from dimmest to brightest as it goes up, but the fan goes from strongest to weakest as it goes up from 1 to 4. Is this the way it is supposed to work? Seems they should both work the same, not the opposite.

This was wired by licensed electrician who made other mistakes.

2007 Chevy Uplander. Tonight the lights did not come on automatically (turned them on manually) and no dashboard "back" lighting.

Predicated that the light switch that controls your dashboard back lighting was not set to its dimmest setting, and the fact that the sentinel did not automatically turn on your head lights, indicates a problem in the switch that controls the headlights, interior lighting, and dash lights.
I would however check all my fuses before going out and buying a new switch assembly; I would also check the photo sensor as well.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check its battery contacts for any rust or dust. Check it with fresh batteries.

1999 pathfinder . gauges are on dimmest level , dimmer switch does not work . fuses are all good

sounds like the dimmer switch is broken and not running the resistor, sounds like you need a new dimer switch or look in auto store for the stick on LED sport lights and put a couple to light gauges up. cheap solution.

The fan and light com on when the door is open and the carousel turns. When you close the door everything stops.

Check the door interlock switches, you may have a faulty switch or a blown fuse inside the microwave.

Our four light Emerson fan has two lights (across from each other) that do not work. They appear to be connected by the same blue wire.

If you have a pull chain I would check that switch. If not check all your wiring and make sure everything is secure.

I have a sw102 fan/lt switch that don't light up or operate and it is wireless

Make sure that there is power to the fan and that the fan and light are turned on. Also, make sure the battery in the switch is a good one (charged). Hopefully this will help. Good luck!
