when player turns on it imediatly goes to A icon of a speaker with an x on it (mute?) and 00 .

It seams to switch languages also because if I use the Hold key it Displays "Bloquear!"

If I do the quick reset it goes back to say "Hold", but I'm stuck in this loop.

Is there a way to totally wipe it. I noticed a little hole in the back, how can I use this to reset it, simply putting a pin in doesn't do anything.

It is recognized by my PC and I can add remove files from it just cant do anything with the player itself

Doublecheck and make sure there is not a "speaker off" or "mute" option in the menu for that player. If not, the headphone jack is defective - go ahead and get the player replaced.

The Sansa does not have any speakers. You need to have something produce sound. If you don't want to use headphones/ear plugs, you can plug some speakers into the headphone jack.

Make sure the headphones are plugged all the way in, because if the player does not recognize the headphones as in it will still play out the speaker. If they're all the way in, consider contacting the manufacturer because it would seem that you got a lemon.

Sound problems

Have you tried using a differant set of Headphones? If you still have the same problem with using other headphones, then it seems like there's a poor connection on the sound card from the headphone in input to the board. If your sound card works fine through normal speakers, then that's more then likely your problem.
The cheapest solution would be to replace the sound card rather then have it repaired, as it would probably cost you more to have it repaired then what it would be to buy one depending on what quality of sound your happy to listen to.

Samsung yp k5j radio doesnt work

You have to plug in the headphones. The head phones act as an antennae, therefore you need to be plugged in. YOu can still listen through the speakers, but keep the head phones plugged in.

Sound is warped

Likely what happened is, in your efforts to get the piece out of there, you loosened a solder point on the headphone jack, and it will need to be resoldered. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, you can send it to a technician who can.
