My Mitsubishi CS-2005R stereo TV set has a problem with its brightness: it's too dark when a DVD player or PS2 is plugged into it, and I ave no way to adjust the brightness with the remote I have. It was not the original remote and I do not have the funds to replaceit -- and the picturesof the remote indicate that it didn't have the right controls anyway. How DO you adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. on this TV?
SOURCE: The picture on my JVC TV is too dark
On the inside of the TV, on the flyback transformer there should be two controls. Turn the one that says "screen" very slowly clockwise while looking at the pix. The pix should get brighter as you turn it up- if you go to far you will see lines in the pix or the TV may shutdown.
