I could not locate google chrome to uninstall

delete your previous installation of google chrome, go to start..
Control panel...
programs and features...
unintall...
locate google chrome.. uninstall it and tremove all traces of it...
use internet explorer and download a fresh copy of Chrome,
that should do it.

I'm not sure if I got your question right. I think what you're trying to say is that you want to UNINSTALL Googe Chrome.


To UnInstall Google Chrome follow these steps

1. Click Start > Control Panel
2. Click Programs > Uninstall a program
3. On the list, Click on Google Chrome and click Uninstall
4. Just follow the prompts 'til it says "Finish"

Hi! If you are using Windows XP, To uninstall Google Chrome just go to Start- Control Panel- Add or Remove Programs then search and highlight Google Chrome on the programs populated by your computer then click REMOVE. And Presto! You have just uninstalled your Google Chrome. Same steps is applied when you want to remove programs to your computer.

A complete uninstallation of prior browsers should remove the requirements of reseting chrome as a default once downloaded on the computer. important notes before the uninstallation takes places. 1. chrome is the upgrade of google browser. Uninstalling the google browser already in the computer would create an incompartible internet upgrade requirement to chrome. Only uninstall all browsers from the computer except google on condition that google is already on the computer. Google needs to be installed on the computer before The chrome could become downloadable update as latest browsing functionality thereafter. Finally adjust the computer internet systems setting for chrome to achieve relaxed flexibility of browsing.

Close the Google Chrome, now follow the steps:
Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Add/Remove Programs" and locate "Google Chrome" from the lists of installed programs, once it's located, highlight it with your mouse (click once) and click "Remove" on the right-hand side, and follow the onscreen instructions.

Try revouninstaller, use the moderate option and delete all the files that it finds etc.

Let me know if the problem remains , note that if the chromes own uninstaller fails, the revo uninstaller can do things on its own, so you can manually remove it in any case with the tool.

I've never used Google Chrome but believe if you uninstall Yahoo Messenger. Then re-download and reinstall it(Yahoo Messenger) that it should remedy your problem since Google Chrome is now removed.
