Cost me $40 bucks for this problem, watched the authorized servie guy from panasonic fix it, all you do is turn the unit it so the code screen comes up and then press and hold the toggle button in the bottom right side of the unit for 10-15 seconds, it will reset the unit for you, just keep holding it down and it will work

By accident a friend closed my trunk notrealizing that it would close by itself = I lost the owners manual and do not remember how to reset the system can you please help

If you know the 5 digit code to unlock your door, press the 5 digit code followed by the number 6. This will pop the trunk. To change the unlock code, press the 5 digit code, followed by the new code you wish to use. Keep in mind, the new code will be lost if the car should lose power and revert back to it's original code.

Radio must be pulled from dash and serial number noted. You'll need radio tools. These are two keys that insert in the side of the radio to unlatch the securing locks.

Available on eBay. Few dollar$

Possible if radio still original, dealer may give you code numbers. However, you may have to prove you are the owner.

Sometimes the radio code is written on a sticker in the trunk next to the spare wheel..

I no longer have the owner's manual for my 1995 lincoln town car executive series. I need the original keypad code in order to change the code now. Is this possible without the owner's manual?

You need to check two different places to find a sticker with your cars code:
1.- On one of the posts/arms that hold the trunk, most of the times is on the left post. 2.- On the drivers door, you'll need to take off the door panel to find the sticker (this is the place where my 95 Town car has it.
Hope this helps.

Need code for 06 grand vitara

if u mean the radio code, that is not published on the internet and we have access to the information, the code is unique to each cars serial number and radio serial number, it is security related and is for theft deterrence, so if u could just get it from any web site there would be little security in the use of radio codes. The code came with the car in the owners materials when the car was sold to the original owner, look through the owners packet if u have it for the card with code info on it If u don't have contact the local dealer, he can help.

Code radio grand cherokee 2002

The security codes are meant to be different for each individual radio, so you need the code for your specific unit. If the original owner didn't keep a note of it you'll have to get it through DaimlerChrysler. Just give them the serial number of your radio (you may need to do this through your local Jeep dealer).

Good luck.

Dont know security code to tape deck for 97 honda accord

You will need to pull out the radio and look for the serial number. Call your nearest Honda Dealer and ask for service. They should be able to give you the code. Otherwise if your not the original owner, people sometimes write it on the back of the owners manual.

Radio code

Found this on another site.

General Motors coded THEFTLOCK® radios have a backup unlocking code that can be accessed by a General Motors dealer or a Delco® radio repair center if the owner programmed security code is not available. Honda, Acura and Audi anti-theft radios are examples that will require radio removal to access the radio serial number that a dealer needs to obtain the factory security code. Sometimes the original dealer for a vehicle may keep records of the radio security code for factory-coded radios.

Sounds like you may have to remove the stereo so you can see the code on the back.

Then I would take it to a local dealer and prove its yours and give them the serial number.

They should be able to decipher it for you.
