The original owner didnt give the dealer the security code and there was an accident in the trunk long story short its rewired and now i need a security code for it is there any way i can get one to start my cd player
Cost me $40 bucks for this problem, watched the authorized servie guy from panasonic fix it, all you do is turn the unit it so the code screen comes up and then press and hold the toggle button in the bottom right side of the unit for 10-15 seconds, it will reset the unit for you, just keep holding it down and it will work

ok i just paid some authorized panasonic dude $40 to fix this problem, it was so simple i couldnt bare to see another person ripped out of $40..... all you do is power up the unit so it comes up to the code screen, then the $40 fix is, hold down the toggle button on the bottom right side till it resets takes 10-15 seconds..... YAY!!!
You should be able to buy the remote from any Panasonic dealer, or from the factory itself. If nothing else, check eBay. Also, for the manual, if you go to Panasonic's website, you may be able to download it directly from them, either in HTML format or as a .pdf file (many companies offer this now, to save hassle for their customers).
you need the remote to power up the unit to get it to the code screen, then its just a matter of holding the toggle button down for 10-15 seconds, then unit will come back to life... this does work, i just paid a guy $40 to fix mine.....
