i tried to put songs through V-Cast Music Manager
and i found out that some of the files cant be read in the
phone but as i sychronize it in the phone,
does not appear in the list but taking the memory
space. I can't erase them because i cant see them
in phone nor in computer. Please help me and restore
my memory space..... would you?
You can reset the whole phone if you have already tried erasing it from its apps menu. Keep in mind that thid will erase everything (data, media, etc). I suggest you load all your media files to the MMC (mem. card), instead using the phone's mem.
menu Settings/Tools----Phone Settings---Security----enter user code--select Reset Default. Phone will off then on aftter 1 or 2 by itself.

Don't know much about the Samsung phone; Can you put music on the 1 Gb memory card from another source (like a computer) and have it recognized by the phone? Does the phone require music in a particular format? For example, if the phone recognizes .mp3 music files, but all your music is in Ogg Vorbis (.ogg) files, you will not be able to play them on the phone.
1) Find the Samsung phone manual (online?) and see if it requires music files to be in one format, or another.
2) Try loading music, in the proper format, from different sources onto your memory card.
You must move the music files
to the appropriate folder on your micro card. move all the music to the "sounds" file. Your phone is not
set up to read the entire card, just the folder associated with the
application being used. If this doesn't work out, then copy the entire
card to your desktop and format the card while inside your phone from
your phones menu. Now insert the card and select, open to view files.
you can now locate the appropriate file and paste the songs you would
like to have on your mobile device.
Good Luck And PLs Rate This Post!!!! :D
Remember to spend the 15 secs it takes to click-through the folders in your microSD when you first connect it to your computer by selecting "View Files IN Folder". This will make it easier for you to see where to place the files. And if you have a song that DOES play, you can search the card for its file name and simply move the files to that same folder.
i also having the same problem while updating my phone get restarting. the only way is to update the phones software will solve my problem. u can also check the nokia website for updating the software details.........
Actually the songs in your card are mixed, that means your Audio songs and Video songs are placed at a same place so when it updates the library then the phones hangs and donot play any file, The best solution is to just separate the audio and video songs and your phone will ba fine.
Ok first, transfer all your data to memory card using fexplore or file manager then check ur phone memory if it dont work try this 1. first type dis code *#7370# then press yes and then put your security code and it will format ur phone.
WARNING: remove ur memory card and try the second solution
and all data of phone memry will b erased
