J98 means there was a misfeed of the paper, you may have to have a tech look at this to figure out why its jamming, could be poor paper quality, worn feed tire and/or rollers. i would look at replacing the feed tire first that seems to be the problem most of the time...

Hi there, the code J in the code refers to "JAM / paper jam" and the number "98" refers to the area where the jam is registered, in this case the jam is registered before the page reaches the drum, that is why it comes out blank, clean all paper sensors and try again.

What happen when kyocera KM-1505 is bringing error code J98


There's probably a time piece of paper or something blocking a sensor or pressing down on an actuator or something
try checking this then do a good clean of the unit.

BD steady-state problem • BD steady-state problem is detected. (jam code 98)
BD steady-state problem • The VTC detects a BD error for 800 ms after the polygon motor rotation has been stabilizad.
Poor contact of the connector terminals. Defective LSU. Defective main PCB.
Check the connection of connector CN18 on the main PCB and the continuity across the connector terminals. Remedy or replace if necessary. Replace the LSU. Replace the main PCB and check for correct operation.

C 610 Error Code on a CS-1505 copier


There is no 610 code ,there is 620&630 which are fuser problems.press and hold down these keys,stop/reset key /start key/copy density key.Press stop/reset keyb again. enter U163,press start."CLE"will display.Press start again to clear.Exit the mode with 001.

there is some dust in the paper path sensors or a small piece of paper cn be also in your copier
