Yes, you can use the XD M+2GB card in your camera. The M+ card is a faster one. The following website gives you more on it. http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_xd.asp
"The Type M+ xD-Picture card is compatible with the Type M card in all
cameras and is 1.5 times faster than the Type M card. The increase in
speed may be useful in sequential shooting of digital stills and in the
recording of high-density video with Olympus cameras."
The XD-Picture card is the right type for your camera. And they are all the same size physically as far as I can tell. 20.0mm x 25.00mm x 1.7mm.
Have you tried pushing the card all the way in? Sometimes there is a spring catch inside digital cameras that will click once you have it in all the way, and when you push again it springs out for easy removal.
Maybe it just needs a little shove :) However if it feels like you are against a solid object and no amount of pushing will get it in further then you may have something in the cardslot, or something is getting caught on the card.
The Olympus FE-120 uses an xD-Picture card. Here is a linkyou can use to shop for the cards. Looks like the cheapest card is about $7.00 and has a 64mb capacity. The prices go on up to about $30.00 for a 1gig capacity.
These cards are all OLYMPUS brand cards and they are all supported by your camera, up to 2gig.
If I remember my last Olympus camera it would only work in Panorama mode with an official Olympus memory card. No third party cards would enable that feature. My instructions read "An Olympus xD-Picture Card is
required for panorama shooting." If you are using an official Olympus xD-Picture card, there may be a problem with your camera.
