You will need to have your Geometry correction repaired. STK parts are needed and should be installed by qualified tech. Should not cost more than 275 us.

Red color seperating

If you mean the red light is displaying offset from the blue and green then the red LCD panel inside the projector needs to be physically adjusted. If you take the projector apart you'll notice that the light source is split into red, green and blue light by passing through an optical splitter. Each color then passes through it's own LCD panel. Next, each color is joined back together by another light splitter to be projected to your screen. The red LCD panel is misaligned.

We cannot align the blue. The projectors appear

If the error is severe, this is a convergence problem. Convergence ICs are not too hard to change but require good soldering skills. There can be two or three ICS.
A service shop will charge $200 -$600 depending on service call, parts costs, labour, etc.
A slight error that just barely won't correct is an alignment issue. There are a lot of adjustments done by remote. Digital adjustments are not forgiving. Have a pro do the adjustment.

Hi, can someone pls help ?? KIA Lantra 2000 SW 2.0Lt (Please note: This is Australian model) Recently had all belts replaced inc Internal timing belt. Now 2 weeks after this the engine is making ticking...

First of all it can be misaligned,or have miss one teeth of the belt if so the engine will never start, you are right the ticking noise came mainly from the valve, how long have you have adjusted the valve clearance ?I think you must check the valve adjustment before taking another step.Hope that clear your mind and will solve it.

51mp392h Blue Convergence Problem

Hello rogeuryder,

This is the one thing that even make TV repair persons shudder. You don't really have a convergence problem in the normal sense. The convergence works. What you have is a misaligned convergence situation which any documentation and or book on TV repair will tell you that at this point manual convergence adjustment is needed and the only thing you will have to do is keep trying to adjust the convergence until you get the center aligned, and then work towards the outer edges using both static (Center) and dynamic (outer edges) convergence techniques.

As this may sound it is; Very Very Tedious.

Here is something that may help you:

http://books.google.com/books?id=ttBofTJM7FEC&pg=PA112&lpg=PA112&dq=static+convergence&source=web&ots=hyUMeeY9s6&sig=DZm27q1aMbLiwKA__fyysBd2yUE&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=9&ct=result#PPA112,M1

I have used this book when I use to teach TV repair. I hope you discover what I am tried to convey in my e-mail, this is no longer a question of can you fix a TV? It has become a question of do you have the patience to adjust a TV.

Good fortune in doing this, you will succeed if you just take your time and do static convergence first and then do the dynamic convergence with the manual controls. The procedure will be in the service manual.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

Blue adjustment wont adjust

you will need to change the convergence IC. they are cheap so its better to change both at the same time as the red is sure to follow soon. Also check the resistors that power the ICs as usually one or two go open when the IC goes out.

Blue Non-Convergence

Hi...
These sets quite often lose their memory and can be adjusted with remote control , but , MORE often I have to change the convergence amplifiers. There are two amps with 3 channels each for the up/down left/right for each colour . You did not say if the blue was curved with this displacement , if so AMP or fusible resister . If resister open I will change the amps as a pair. You will need to clean the old heatsink grease off(it will be baked on) and apply a fresh thin coat .

Sorry not for the faint of heart or lack of soldering/desoldering
experienced .
The remote control buttons change their functions when in convergence adjust mode . Let me know If you want the overlay and instructions to adjust.

Misaligned Convergence

Is anenvolved job to repair a convergence problem, the way to go about it is to locate the convergence amplifier IC's,one for each color(red green, blue)check for loose conections at the ic's legs, after resoldering all the legs see if an improvement is present if it gets better you will be able to adjust from the custumer controls, but if no improvement the Ic's will have to be replaced. Some units have a separete board were you can adjust convergence after replacing the Ic's and other units you have to access the service menu to be able to do the adjustments but just doing this adjustments can be very challeging even for a train technician,I would suggest you seek assistance from a servicer and get an estimate.
