I have just done the same thing... All you need to do is open the unit, 3 screws on back and 2 on each side.

You will need to open the DVD drawer half way and then use something to tease out the disc. I used a bamboo scewer as it let me reach into the drive and place the through the hole in the middle of the disc and push it out over the drawer.

I'm trying to use my canon speed lite 199a on my

The 199A is not designed to be a wireless controller. It was designed long before wireless control of flash units was available in consumer flash units. You'll need to use the built-in flash, a more modern Canon (or compatible) controller, or some other wireless setup (possibly radio).

Carousel will not turn

Could be a broken/loose carousel belt. take the cover off and look near the back of the unit and make sure that both belts are on there respective pulleys.

Sharp Carousel Model R-209KK-W is flashing all 8's and keypad not working

The first thing to try is to do a hard reset.

Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

If it still doesn't work, it may need repair, which can be done for $39.95 in most cases.

I cant hear any sound on my youtube? Please help me.

You have to install the flash players for the browsers you are using on Windows OS.
1. Flash Player 10.2.153.1 (IE)
2. Flash Player 10.2.153.1 (Non-IE)

**Note: You can install both the flash players.

Install the latest codec "K-Lite Mega Codec Pack or K-Lite Codec Pack" from http://free-codecs.com/ which will play most of the Audo/Video formats.

Hope it helps.

I have just changed the top screen and now when i turn it on the screen flashes and turns off

Depending on which screen flashes tells you which screen is faulty. If the screen you have just changed flashes then it is the bottom screen that is faulty. However I have known the DS to be rather sensitive when it comes to connections. Take the DS apart again and reinsert the ribbon cables that connect the screens to the motherboard. This will hopefully correct the problem.

Hope this helps.

Cant get into the network center on my acer aspire 1 ,

If this is an aspire One with linpus lite linux,

The network center disappearing is an issue with the linux update server that seems to corrupt the OS.

The solution unfortunately is to reload the OS from the recovery disk.

The aspire ONE does not come with an ODD so you will need to use the disk on a unit that has an ODD to make the recovery USB flash drive.

You will need a USB flash drive that has at least 2GB of storage, a computer with an ODD, and the linpus recovery disk that came ywith your unit.
1. Boot to the linpus disk, one of the options should be to make a recovery USB drive, make sure that no important data is on this USB drive as it WILL be formatted and erased.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions and then insert the recovery flash drive in to the USB slot of the Aspire ONE.
3. Re-start the Aspire ONE and press F2 to go in to setup.
4. Change the boot order to boot from "USB HDD" and press F10 to save and exit.
5. Unit will reboot and recovery will start.

Won't power up

if you already tryed to unplug the unit then you did all you can unless you know how to trouble shoot the power supply with a multi-meter. It sounds like what you described to be one of the switched supplys to be defective., Sorry I could assist you more.
