Black screen with sound

If you look in the upper right corner by the hinge there is a little button. Mine was sticking. I touched it with a toothpick, it popped up. Works now.

I had a similar problem with Coby dvd 7500 the screen was faint almost black but could hear the movie sound. I cleaned the lens as suggested but it didnt resolve the problem.

I tired to rest the player by removing the power supply cord and the battery for 30 mins as suggested in the manual but that also didnt work. What I did was left the player without battery and the power cord overnight and it did start working in the morning!!

This worked for me and hope works for you guys too...
