Yep, it's:-
Crl + Alt + (Arrow key)

Depending on which arrow key you press, the screen will rotate differently.

How do i rotate my screen

I am not sure where the confusion is on adjusting portrait/landscape mode. If you look at the bottom of the screen, you will see the following icons: an open book, a curved arrow inside a circle, a circle with three lines in it, the battery icon, and the clock.
To change the orientation:
1) press the icon that is the circle with three lines in it.
2)press "Reader Settings"
3) press "Orientation"
4) select "Auto-rotate", "Portrait", or "Landscape."

My screen display is rotated 90-degrees, so it now is "portrait" rather than the traditional landscape.

This is actually a feature you can use for monitors that rotate. The cure is easy to do - open control panel, then click on display (or right click on desktop, select properties) then click on settings. Then click on advanced. One of the tabs should be something like catalyst control center. Click it, then start it. It takes a minute for it to open. One of the settings on the left side controls the rotation.

My laptop working area has turn to the right, actual laying to the side, which means I have to tilt my head to read on the screen. Please help

Right click on an empty spot of the desktop away from the icons, scroll down the drop down menu until you see something like Nvidia control panel or ATI control panel. If you don't see any of those then go to the bottom and choose properties. If you have the control panel up, look about halfway down for the text "Screen orientation" choose "landscape" or "0" degrees. If you can only bring up the properties menu, choose "display settings" look for "Orientation" and then choose Landscape from the drop down menu.

My acer aspire one netbook display was rotated 90% counter clockwise by accident. How can I restore the display to normal

Right click on the desktop away from the icons. Scroll down untill you see something like ati or Nvidia control panel. Select that and look in the left hand side for either screen orientation or screen rotation. Choose 0 degrees or landscape.

You can also get to these settings through the control panel > display settings > Screen Orientation > Landscape.
