I have recently purchased a GE EasyCam and installed it. The problem is that when I am chatting with someone, using the web cam, it keeps freezing up the picture on me. Is there anything that I need to do to fix this? Would it be connected with my internet connection? I would like to know so I don't have to keep disconnecting it and connecting it back on to continue the chat with the cam.

First check if the drivers are installed. You can see if the webcam works by checking the Windows Device Manager. Once it works, you can use any program that supports webcams to activate and use it (chat programs etc.)
On this page near the bottom they claim that easycam will not be supported for vista - a lot of companies have decided to just add vista to their new products - I had no luck at all with GE but you might find that in a few months or so someone out there has figured out how to do it - keep searching.
Sorry no solution, but I hope it helps anyway :)
