The AMD quad core processor will work on motherboards which have the appropriate socket set/size for that particular processor also ensure that your ram is compatible with your processor frequency otherwise you could experience problems.

Which is better, amd quad core or intel i3?

Don't ever doubt the answer. I suggest, go for AMD. If you are considering other Intel processors, I will say that i5 and i7 are both better than AMD quad core.

Hope this one solved your problem. If you have additional doubts, please come back to us.

P.S: If the solution is helpful, please accept the solution.

Hi, am wondering whether this motherboard PC 945GZ7MC RS2H is quad core compatible. we want to upgrade so we can edit, is this possible or is it best to buy a new board altogether?

Hello

I read that that board was discontinued and also read that it is not quad core compatible. So even if it was quad core compatible, i would rather buy a new board that i could upgrade mor efficiently. Hope this helps you

Best regards

Will this CPU be compatible with this MOBO?

Okay your Processor is not supported by your System Board. I will take some time and look to see what would be a good upgrade, but it may take a few days.

Finding a compatible motherboard and processor

The DDR1 is now Obsolete. I suggest you to purchase entire motherboard with processor, RAM and graphics card. As it is one time investment, try purchasing Quad-Core CPU's with atleast 4GB of RAM.

Which latest Graphic card can be supported by my Asrock P4i45GV?

Hi

Any video card that supports AGP x8 Should work on this motherboard.

For example Nvidia 7800 GS AGP or 7600 GS AGP should work fine.

But a better investment would be to upgrade the motherboard to a PCI-E supporting board and possibly AMD Dual or Triple / quad core processor the ram is very cheap for DDR2 these days.

Upgrade would be best in long run.
