Our Westinghouse RS662V fridge is tripping the power. Has done it twice in the past 2 months. Any suggestions?

This solution is one possible answer if it applies to you. My fridge did the same and i thought the fridge was dead. The fridges freezer compartment's door was being left open and the freezer would thaw out and produce lots of water which would accumulate in the rear in a container which overflowed causing the fridge to trip the power. Closing the door and drying the rear container solved the problem. There are other causes too but if this applies to you it is worth giving it a try. Good Luck!

Ice maker leaking

Are you sure it's the ice maker that's leaking? We have this model & ours accumulates a HUGE iceberg in the bottom of the freezer, but the water seems to be coming out of the back, at the bottom of the back panel, where the vents are.

Ice accumulation on the bottom of the freezer

Your drain line is clogged, that is located behind the white wall inside of the freezer. The water comes from defrost cycle, that happens every 8-12 hours. You need to defrost it and snake it.

Water is accumulating inside the bottom of the freezer.

Hi, The defrost drain behind the rear freezer panel is plugged. Remove the rear panel and clear the ice away from the drain. Then you will need to flush the drain hole with hot water to make sure it is open.
Some models require an after market drain heat kit.
Please get me your model # and I can look this up to let you know if you need that heat kit.

Thanks
Vic

Water accumulates at the bottom of the freezer unit and leaks

You must clear the drain of anything that would cause water to pool up after each defrost cycle. Check your door gaskets for wear. Air entering the ice box can cause excessive frost.
