My writemaster DVD RW door wont close

I have a super write master SE-S184 DVD RW drive. A while back it fell and something caused the door to stop closing well. The DVD will come on and even be seen in windows but it doesn't read any cd or dvd. I would really love your help.

-   i have the same problem
i think it's not about driver thing coz i disabled it from device manager and still won't close so i think ther's some kind of thing that keeps it close and it's broken or smth
please let me know how to manually fix it if you know i would really appreciate it

try updating the drivers. if it will not work give me additional information
