Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Hey i have the same problem as you. Ive had my xbox 360 premium for only about 3 or 4 months. I played it for about the first month and a half then i was too busy to even turn it on.. I then tried playing it yesterday (which was the first time i turned it on in about 2 months) and within 3 or 4 minutes it completely shut off displaying the two red lights on the left (which means "overheating" but i dont see how i t could ever overheat if its only been on for 2-4 minutes and i never played it for 2 months and it was bought brand new in march. Id liek to know how you fixed yours (if you did) so yeah please get back to me
Well dust can accumilates in the wierdest ways.
try blowing the air holes with a compress air cans. or take it apart and clean the inside. dust can build up with 3 months of playing depends on your area if you have pets or smokers in the area, dust comes from all sorts.
so try keeping your XBOX360 cooled as possible and keep it cleaned.
i use a air compressor when cleaning mine i try to clean it like every 3-4 months depending on how much I play it.
So keep it clean also red lights could mean no video device connected too, so check your video / audio connector.
