Where is the starter located on a 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara?

one of the hardest starters to remove
only held on by two bolts but not enough room to remove it
without taking a lot of parts off

will be best to buy a 2006-2014 vitara repair manual

see if the exhaust manifold removal makes it possible
or the engine mount bracket

this is the 2008 starter

How many quarts of oil and grade of oil for oil change?

there are at least 3 different engines available for that vehicle. proper lubrication info can be found in the owner's manual. if you cannot find that, call a suzuki dealer.

Oil change

underneath the engine at the lowest point there is a bolt about 17mm undo drain oil then put 17mm plug in fill the new filter with new oil before screwing back on and place oil around rubber ring on new filter so it seals properly fill with oil to low point on dipstick start car check oil filter for leaks turn car off let oil settle and check level again too much oil in a motor will cause problems so dont over fill hope this helps glenn...........
