"Err" message relates to the batteries.
If constantly lit, It's the AA batteries. When flashing, it's the lithium batteries. It can also be the tiny switch in the media door. Try activating it gently with a pointy object to see if the message disappears.
Hi everyone, I know many posts on blogs when i was looking to replace my casio lcd and every site i looked at for the replacement lcd was so high priced, and there was no way i would pay how much they wanted so i was going to buy a new camera. Try pushing the play button. It will either show an image or say "No images". Then press the menu button. The option should be right there to format the card. Just press the control pad "up" to format and press "menu/ok".
