I called Dual at 866-382-5476 and described this very problem in my XDM6351. I was told that I have a defective unit and if I return it with a copy of the receipt, they will send me a brand new unit. Of course, it was a Christmas present and there is no receipt in May of 2012! So, in otherwords, if you cannot find the receipt, just chuck it and buy a better quality product.
Yes you do. There is a way around the problem of having to maintain your subscription, but it gets expensive - if you buy an mp3 file from the Rhapsody Mp3 Store, it will give you the file in mp3 format, which will always work even after you let your subscription lapse. More expensive, but ultimately longer lasting.
Hey qunna1183, As long as you are within the 30-day return period and have a copy of your original store receipt, your local Best Buy™ store should still be able to assist you with a return or exchange on your MP3 player. Please keep in mind that if the product is defective and you are beyond the 30-day return period, you will need to file a claim through the Best Buy Product Replacement Plan (PRP) toll-free hotline instead at 888-539-6883. Hope this helps you out. Sincerely, Aaron Go Ahead. Use Us.
Hi Shelly62, For problems with Best Buy™ digital music store downloads you should contact Rhapsody. Their tech support is available weekdays from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Time and weekends from 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific time. The tech support number is 1-866-401-7314. Hey starrmom, If you are looking to obtain a Best Buy Performance Service Plan (PSP) for your iPod, you will need to return to your local Best Buy™ store for assistance. Only our stores are able to provide customers with PSP coverage at this time, and the PSP must be purchased within 30 days of the iPod itself. Please keep in mind that you may need to have a copy of your receipt or order confirmation page handy to obtain PSP coverage for your iPod. While Best Buy™ stores can generally track check and debit/credit card purchases, there is no guarantee that we are able to track cash purchases if you have lost your receipt. Hope this helps you out. Sincerely, Aaron Go Ahead. Use Us.
If you have a Windows version that is older than XP, Rhapsody will no longer work. The written documentation says it will, but this is dated information - you will have to get Windows XP or Vista for it to download Rhapsody. Most other music svcs are the same way.
