Could be that your breaker is weak and needs replacing. You can also check to make sure that you don't have a wire shorting out to ground causing it to blow.

After fitting a new time to a hotpoint CDT00

Sometimes even one connection can make the circuit non functionable and so it can be due to a wrong connection. I request that you check once again and logically check the lines to go in order to start the cycle, INLET, cut off from the water level sensor, Start motor, stop and drain, spin and rinse, fill water and then for final dry and drain pump.
Check for all leads to be correct, check if the stepper motor works in circuit to move forward after the main power is switched.

pump at the back is most likely blocked or failing ... there are hoses running down the back make sure these are clear as a fisrt port of call .. also remove heat exchanger and make sure there is no build up of wet damp fluff blocking anything .. always remove from mains before attempting any repair

CDT00 Drying takes ages, water tank does not fill

check all seals are clear and free from dirt, also there will be a heat exchanger (usually located above the sump) this must be clean and free from dirt this does all the work so if the area is not clean it will take longer to dry.

Hotpoint condenser tumble dryer aquarius cdt00- wont dry

I am not familiar with this particular unit, but I have a condensing dryer (Malber) which pumps out the water by itself. I am guessing that your unit requires you to empty a bin manually. Even if the bin is empty, I think the unit thinks it needs to be emptied and that is why the dryer will not work to give you hot air. If you do have such a bin, it might have a weight switch which the unit uses to detect if the bin needs emptying. See if the weight switch is working. The same weight switch idea is used on dehumidifiers.
