Its NEC versaPro va 86j the sound card is installed but i can't hear any sound....plz help

Turn on your PC. Then left click on the Setting, control panel, systems, hardware, and finally the device manager. Right click over the sound, audio device for you to get the status, and property. You will be prompted by instruction on what to do next. However, if none would result to get the sound activated. Then, you have no other option but to install the software driver for NEC VersaPro va 86.
If the sound card comes with the software installer
CD, just insert the CD and install it in your PC.
If you don't have the CD, you can either buy it from
software stores or get a download from the internet.
Just type at the Search engine blank (Software
Driver for NEC VersaPro va 86) and click on it. You
will get the necessary intructions for you to get the
download.

mark. Right click over it

Distorted sound after installing software plus GigaPocket issues

Have you physically disabled the onboard sound in the BIOS? By doing this I think most of your other hardware/software would default to the only audio device (your SB).

Post back if you've already done this and I'll see what else I can dig up on your hardware and possible conflicts.
