Fax on this model have no connection to computer. So faxes sent on this machine or for that matter on any fax machine cannot be viewed on computer. it is only possible if you have a fax modem attached with your PC. If you want to save on toner get the cartridge refilled.

MX-310 has fax's in memeory but keeps printing the first page of the first fax only. Screen says check paper size. When i push ok it only will print the first page over and over. How do I change it?

If your Canon MX-310 has been set up to print faxes as they are received, then what is actually in memory is a "received fax report". If you select a particular fax in this report, it will print the first page of the fax to remind you of the content.

Your Canon MX-310 will store fax documents in memory if:
  • Ink is low or has run out
  • The paper size and type is not set correctly
  • Paper has run out
  • The Output Tray is closed

HP Officejet 9130 incoming faxes are not being recieved properly. All we get is FAX report that under column heading Result has "Error 232". Can you advise what this means please? Brian Prior - Community...

Hi there,

If the faxes are not printing or are printing incorrectly
Check the media supply.
- The all-in-one cannot receive faxes, if it is out of media and its memory is full. Load media. The all-in-one will print all of the faxes that it has saved in the memory and will resume answering fax calls.

Hope this helps. Please rate my response.
Thanks.
Have a good day.

Wont print out from computer monitor

Your Print Screen key is only saving your screen into your clipboard.
Paste it into any Graphic (PAINT) word processing (MSWord) Presentation (PPT) programs then you print from there

Recieving fax no printout, all other printing processes ok

When you say all other printing processes are ok, I am assuming you can make copies and print from the computer. If so...then are the blank faxes coming from several different fax machines or are they coming from one particular fax machine. If one particular fax machine, then the problem is probably on their end. I need to go backwards a second....when you receive a fax does the machine spit out a blank page or no paper is fed at all..it just receives the fax? Is the machine programmed to just receive faxes to memory to be printed out later? It doesn't make sense for it to print or copy but not to print a fax. If problem persist try a different fax modem.

Fax in memory

Print from Fax Memory on MP530

1- Press Fax,then Menu.

2- Press the Right Arrow Key to show 'Memory Reference' on the mini screen. Then press OK.

3 - Again use the arrow keys to show 'Print Document' on mini screen and press OK to print.

4- Once this has printed repeat the first 2 steps and on the 3rd step go to 'Delete Document' to allow you to print the next saved fax.

5- Repeat this till you have no more Fax's saved, then the light should go out in the top left corner.

Received fax's are not printing. Unit prints confermations and is working as a printer but recieved fax's just park in memory and will not print.

TYPICALLY A FAX MACHINE WILL RECEIVE MESSAGE IN MEMORY WHEN NO PAPER OR TONER/INK FINISHED INDICATION IS THERE, REPLENISH THESE SUPPLIES WITH GENUINE ONES AND FAX WILL START PRINTING. IF PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED , PLEASE TRY TO CLEAR THE SETTING FOR MEMORY RECEIVING, IF STILL NOT SOLVED TRY BRINGING THE MACHINBE TO FACTROY SET SETTING BY CLEARING THE MEMORY. HAPPY FAXING OMNIPRESENT
