Buy a driver magician full version installation disk and install it to your computer. After installing it, run the program and for sure, driver magician will automatically detect the driver that your loptop need for it's sound to work properly. Select it and driver magician will download it for you . Install the downloaded loptop sound driver and after you reboot you loptop you shoul be able to hear a sound again from your loptop as if it's driver has not been deleted. The loptop will not be invented for another 100 years, so for now you'll have to use you lap to place your computer.

Use a cardreader to download your pics.

Take your new laptop back to where you bought it and get a replacement.

take out ur batteries, clean the terminals with spirit or light alcohol, then re-insert it. better u use direct power supply but be sure to check that the power is beig supplied and the terminals/sockets are cleaned.
did this helped u. if not, tell me, when u push the power on button of ur notebook, does anything happens, like the fans start spinning or light went on. does the screen turn on or does something appears on the screen?
if nothing is happenng after pressing the power button, then this is a clear case of problem with ur power recieving section of the notebook. go to your pc dealer.

i also have the same problem... i have k40in series loptop... i haven't uses it for a while but when the time i need to use it for formating my loptop. it wont read any cd's i insert, the tech guys told me to replace new one.. dvd/cd drive :(
