Can't find replacement bulbs

I need to replace a couple bulbs in a Model 170DC Marantz Amplifier and I can't find them anywhere. Any suggestions where I should be looking for these?

Unit probably uses fuse type lamps, either 8 or 12 volt filament. Remove one of the lamps and look for voltage rating on end cap. You can order these lamps from Allied Electronics or MCM Electronics online

You don't see any glass fuses? There is also a non replaceable fuse in the power transformer.

Marantz PM7200 Amplifier, wont switch on, no power light. Changed the plug fuse, checked the fuse inside, looks ok but not got a spare to change it.

You can check the fuse with a battery and a bulb. Take the fuse out and use it to make a circuit with some wire, the battery and bulb. If the bulb doesn't light it has gone.
Apart from that other things to check are the power switch, to see if it works and the transformer.
It might be worth buying a cheap Ohm meter, if you haven't got one. You can check most of the parts in the power supply with it. By the way if the fuse has blown, buy a few as you might find it could blow again when you try it again. If it does you are looking at a device (such as a transistor) that as shorted and acting like it was a piece of wire. Which is easily found with an Ohm Meter!

Marantz dedicated amplifier squeals

The symptom sounds like a feeback loop. As long as that indicator is showing near maximum output on one channel AVOID ATTACHING ANY SPEAKERS TO IT!!!! You'll cook the tweeters.

Turn it off and manually operate every control, knob and pushbutton throughout its range many times to wipe oxides away from their conductors.

Set all EQ controls to their midpoints and re-evaluate.

We don't know if it's an input or output problem yet. Does it do that with all inputs?

Marantz pm 7200 lost sound, only works when volume is up high, still looks like there are no high or medium frequencies.

You have either lost the pre-amp stage or the Main Amp stage. Since you have a problem on both channels it most be a part that is common to both channels. Something like an IC I would suspect.
