Toshiba - Dosen't run properly. Sporatic useage

Right click on the video file choose open with if open with is not shown then hold the shift key down then right click on the file. Choose open with in the next window put a check in the box always open with this app then choose windows media player.

All you can really do is use a CD Player cleaner *one that uses fluid* run it thru a couple times and try a disc again. Clean your CD's with liquid car polish an a microfibre towel, it works wonders for new and old CD's. If it still skips, It needs to be pulled for repair. They just replace the transport, usually runs between 100-150 depending on the service center. Hope this helps.

When any portion of the electronic package begins or is failing it can very well cause other problems. The different sections of your laptop all share power supply lines, cpu freq lines and memory lines. I agree that the hard drive could also be a culprit. Now you'll need to determine if this is an actual hard drive physical problem or is it virus' and spyware playing with the operating system. Is this what you paid that company to do? If so I'd be back there is a minute. What are the beep codes you're hearing?

Same problem with my sansa fuze 8 gig It skips over songs instead of playing them.

Your mp3 player works like a hard disk, make sure that it was not moving when you are listening to your music. If the problem is the same try to use a new headset/earphone on it. Loose connections on your headset/earphone makes you think that your mp3 player skips.

This generally happens when the music is encoded at a low "bitrate", its called clipping. Only solution is to remove the songs from the device. Best of Luck.

MP3 players i have seen so far are only able to play WMA,Wav,MP3 files. Other files are skipped. Also, there arent many MP3 devices that can play DRM protected Files. Your might be it.
