Question about Lexmark Wheelwriter 15 Series II Typewriter
We have an old IBM Selectric II typewriter in the church library. When I hit the return button, instead of moving to the left and moving the paper up, it moves to the right. I tried to set the righthand margin, but it did not correct the problem.
The return clutch torque limiter is off or broken. If you take the right dust cover off it is on the turning hub around the middle of the typewriter. a small spring about 1.25 inches long with a hook on the end. I have been fixing these for 35 years. good luck. Lawrence
