Hitachi 53UDX10B Power Light Flashing after convergence IC replacement

I replaced the 2 convergence IC's as recommended, however now the TV won't turn on. Red power light keeps blinking. I smell a burning scent also. 2 green lights on the center board inside of the TV are clicking and blinking.... I saw someone else with a similar situation and the recommended solution was to change C603 and S901.. But I could not locate a part number on the web... so do you know where I can get them and what to order?

C603 is a polyestor capacitor 0.068UF-FEB 50V part number 0880047R S901 is the power relay ALKS329 the part number for the relay is FJ00142 . I recomend checking the pins on the ICs to make sure they are not bridged. If you need more assistance let me know. Vance Baldwin should have the parts if not you may have to order through hitachi

Hitachi ultravision rear progection converge
If the convergence is so far out that you cannot adjust with your customer access menu then You will probably need the convergence ICs replaced & possibly a fuse or resistor or 2. Then a complete convergence will be necessary & I HIGHLY recommend having a professional technician perform this task.

Hi there i replaced my hitachi 53uwx10ba convergence IC (2) stk392-120 and now it won't turn on and just flashes at the front panel 7 times, can i get some help pls
Did u check the pico fuse and all those resistors on the tv convergence board to make sure with ones are good resistors which are not good resistors and replace all them resistors too?U didn't do that should get it tested and replaces all those dying resitors.Try website like Tvrepairworld.com look up ur Hitachi tv model what resistors and pico fuse u require to check.

Tv is not turning on. Can hear it click, acts like it will turn on, then nothing.
The convergence ic may be damage try to check the resistance of ic pin if their is a shorted, you can compare the resistance to other convergence ic. it is attached to a large aluminum plate and has a marking of stk-****followed by a number. but be sure to unplug your tv before doing this.

Try adjusting the convergence. If it won't move see below

This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!

replace c707 1000uf @ 2KV
replace IC 901 and H.O.T location Q777

PROJECTION TV HITACHI ULTRAVISION COLOR CONVERGENCE PROBLEM
it sounds like your blue convergence ic is getting weak you need to replace the ic's STK392-110 and you should replace both because when 1 is bad the other will go real soon. They are inexspensive at the sight I posted and you will also get free tech online support if you purchase them there.
