Firmware upgrade failure

when i started a firmware upgrade the display said "downloading 1/14" for about two hours. After that the power was cut and then the receiver does not turn back on, regardless of what I do.
I assume the firmware upgrade had started, even though the display still said "downloading 1/14" (and it still played music). How can I reset it or make it work again?

GuruTry this for the reset
First turn the unit off then
hold down the "Pure Direct" and the "Direct" buttons on the display at the same time. And while you are still holding them down turn the unit on with the power button on the display.
this should reset the microprocessor.
You will need to put all custom settings back in.
