Question about Denon AVR-3805 Receiver
When i started a firmware upgrade the display said "downloading 1/14" for about two hours. After that the power was cut and then the receiver does not turn back on, regardless of what I do.
I assume the firmware upgrade had started, even though the display still said "downloading 1/14" (and it still played music). How can I reset it or make it work again?
where did you get this firmware-upgrade/update file from?

Try this for the reset
First turn the unit off then
hold down the "Pure Direct" and the "Direct" buttons on the display at the same time. And while you are still holding them down turn the unit on with the power button on the display.
this should reset the microprocessor.
You will need to put all custom settings back in.
Let me know if this helps.

Find a solution that solve my problem : go to US sony website and download the firmware 1.062 released on 7/12/2011. If you're in Europe you have to rename the zip file like this : A64U_1062.zip renamed to A64E_1062.zip
Then upload it to ES Utility and do the update. After half an hour, shut down your receveir (even if blinking) and restart.
Result, no more message error and everything work fine now! Firmware installed : 1.066 (!)
i think the firmware 1.065 released by sony in november was totally corrupted...
Hope that help someone ++
