The HPOP (high pressure oil pump) is right under the filter housing. There are 2 lines that distribute the oil to the cylinder heads. The o-rings on those fittings go out. Kit is available from Ford or International. You will need a special wrench to get to the fittings though.

Well theres really not much there but the turbo seals and try to tighten the clamps to the air flow tubes oil tends to leak out from the inlet tube and the outlet tube

I have a 2002 Ford F-250 Diesel 7.3 litre Super Duty truck. It is leaking oil from an area beneath the fuel filter. What part would I need to repair this leak?
there are 2 high pressure lines that attach to the high pressure pump near the front of the engine left side. the o rings leak. I would get them from the dealer, or a shop that does a lot of Diesel work. Its not a easy job.

YOU HAVE AIR IN THE SUCTION LINE.OR YOUR ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP FUSE IS BLOWED OR PUMP IS FAULTY IF YOU CANT GET NO FUEL TO FLOW.

oil leak on that!! 7.3 is coming from your oil pump i done 8 of them last year for customers the kits is about $90 and takes about 5 hours to do it properly

Leak under truck looks like diesel fluid. it looks like a straw it comming out of,but it metal.it located at the front bottom of the engine
is this a diesel engine? and did you have the filter changed recently because the fuel filter is located at top of engine in the front.in any case open hood and look you will find a black plastic round filter case check it for leakage.its right on top in eye sight.

my 7.3 f-250 diesel is leaking a lot of oil and in a short time . I cant find where its leaking ? I just washed the motor and waiting for it to dry and look again/. The pan on top by filter was full of oil before i washed it.

possibly the fuel pump check the fuel pressure with a gauge on the fuel rail if its a gas motor, is it diesel if so your in luck cause im a diesel mechanic

Diesel fumes in cab, '03 f250
If its raw fuel fumes check for fuel leaks on top of the motor. If its exhaust fumes you probably have an exhaust leak on the cross pipe at the rear of motor over the transmission. Take a telescoping mirror and flash light have a look. Might even slide under neath and take a peak as well. Make sure wheels are chocked with something first.
