Question about Computers & Internet

Spams With Mcafee and Windows XP firewall ON, I am getting more and more spams which appear to be "filth". Most are directed to my spam/scam section by (I assume) Mcafee. Recently one or two at a time get though and I can mark them as spam. I do not open them. How do I stop them without having to change my email address.

You can exchange your antivirus put the nod32, version 3.0 and for spam you can use the program search and destroy, this 2 programs are very good.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is this email address a scam? John Smith [jsmith0105123@gmail.com]

I too have received several similar requests in the past; key expressions to arouse suspicion are 'chosen' (why not 'selected'?) and 'project book' (what exactly is that?)

However, if you have the slightest suspicion that something might be a scam, do resist the temptation to reply to it; doing so only confirms the validity of your e-mail address (thus opening you to further spams and scams) - and also validates for the scammers that this method is likely to work...

Google

Do you actually see the spam mails in your account's "SENT" folder? It's very likely the sender of the spam is just using your email address to get past the spam filters and that the spam is not actually sent from your account.

Yahoo isn't taking care of SPAMs i click

Most spammers send from multiple IPs and Email addresses, so to Yahoo!, its treated as being sent from different senders. So labeling one as spam doesn't translate to others being filtered.

Mcafee privacy service, firewall and anti-spam software will prevent the scanner from communicating with the PC. Uninstall the HP software. Then disable McAfee completely. Then re-install the HP software. Afterward, you can re-enable McAfee.

I keep getting around 150 spams per day. Other than changing my email address is there anything i can do to get back at these people so they stop annoying me

Almost all email programs have some sort of spam filter/address blocker that you can configure. I'd check into that first. If yours does not, you can go to www.cnet.com and do a search on spam blocker. There are free ones you can try/download.
