Question about Canon i455 InkJet Photo Printer
Is the colour cartridge new? it sounds like the yellow and purple heads could have dried out.
With my lexmark i could put the ink cartridge on a wet cloth to moisten the dried ink, then wipe it alow dried paper to remove it. However i would recommend reading your manual that came with it, or is available online before doing that. There are many different types of printehead and this method could damage it.
Also if you remove the cartride you should see some electrical contacts that line up with a cip on your cartridge, make sure all those contacts are clean.
