I have comcast cable internet and an arris modem. The power light is flashing. The computer says it is connected to the internet but no web page will pull up. I have unplugged it, restarted the computer, etc. Still the power light flashes and no connection.
-   One day i just come home and the internet modem just doesnt work the power light is on but the dsl light is flashing. i unplugged it and the router many time i tried to take out the battries but it didnt work. i unplugged but one time all the lights flashed but it went back to the same problem what can i do?

try shutting of your computer then shutting off the modem, the modems have batteries you might have to remove them theres usally a panel on the bottom, in the back you should have a wire for comcast cable and an ethernet chord telephone too if you have everything. also your modem could be broken, i had the same problem
if the power light is flashing then the modem is on battery backup and internet is disabled. plug the power cord into the modem or find a working power outlet, you should be set after that.

wireless home network stopped working. Wireless hardware indicates working fine, but can not find wireless router. My handheld Droid can connect. Windows vista home 32bit on Compaq cheap laptop, with a dying hard drive. Trying to get iTunes library moved to desktop.
