Question about Acer Aspire 5100-3357 Notebook
Just had my acer 5100 notebook returned to me from the texas repair facillity after they replaced the mouse pd and it wouldnt boot up so they had me return it which i did and when i got it back the 2nd time it still wouldnt boot up so I called then again and they told me that the reason it wouldnt boot was because the hard drive was missing when they recieved my laptop for repairs the first time. I told them i hadnt removed it and that their technician must have lost it when they were repairing it...long story short they pretty much told me to F off and hung up on me so I have had to buy a new hard drive and install it. rather than load vista back on it I put windows xp home on instead and now everything works fine except the wireless network, xp does not recognize the wireless network device and i can not find a driver for it. any ideas out there? do i reformat the disc and load vista or can I replace the device or is there a fix anyone knows?
Used a wired connection and go to manufacturer's website to get the relevant drivers. Copy them to a USB thumb drive and then install them to the Acer.
