Think
of the fax machine as a large telephone. Numbers can be dialed from the
front panel exactly the way they are on a telephone.
Place the document in the feeder or on the glass (flatbed fax.)
Press the START FAX or START button. You should hear a dial tone.
Dial the phone number on the keypad using your long distance code,
billing code, or card numbers just as if the fax were a telephone.
Pause as needed for connections.

Scanner does not work. I get a pop-up error that says "SCAN WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL. IT THEN PROVIDES FOUR SOLUTIONS. I've tried all four several times and still nothing. I can make copies.
