Question about Epson Aculaser C1100 Printer

1 Answer

Error Messages There are two error messages showing up on my Aculase CX11NF. First, it says that I have a worn K Dev Unit. I have tried many different things to alleviate this problem, including calling tech support, but with no solution. Also, it is now saying that I have a MP E Paper Jam, but there is no actual paper jam visible. The printer will not print at all, HELP!

The false Jam at MP E is a common error caused a manufacturing error/problem. You can download a solution to this problem HERE.

The K dev unit error can only be removed by replacing the dev and completing the service mode adjustments. A service manual will help you with this issue. Get one HERE.

WHAT CAN I DO WHEN WORN YK DEV UNIT MESSAGE APPEARS

People think about it. Contact the manufacturer of your specific model for the error codes or order an manual from them. Most people seem to soft to actually do the research. If a company has fallen from grace I can see the extra outreach but look it up. I can.

Epson Acculaser CX11NF Error 'Service Req E527'

Hi.. To fix the E527 error, close the front panel (cover A) and open the top cover (cover B). With the photoconductor unit removed, the toner carousel will rotate. It only rotates if cover A is closed all the way. You can easily rotate the carousel to a position where you can remove/reinstall the toner cartridge if stuck.

No function on my printer is working

E-511 error message is related to the Photoconductor Unit. In order to resolve your issue, there 3 things that I'd like to suggest.

1. Take out the Photoconductor Unit and turn it upside down check if the white tabs restract. If it doesn't you need to replace the PCU otherwise just put it back in

2. If reseating the PCU doesn't resolve your issue, try a different PCU

3. Lastly, warranty options if your product is within the 1-year warranty from the date it was purchase contact Epson Tech support they'll be more than happy to send an onsite tech support to fix it otherwise visit their website support.epson.com and look for a repair center in your area

Worn K Dev Unit - can I get service for the CX11NF in the Greater Vancouver BC area?

If Epson have provided you with a new Dev unit ( black plastic thing with a roller and black powder in it), get a service manual so you can install it. It is VERY straight forward and if you can use a screw driver and have opposable thumbs, you should be able to do it about 20 minutes.

Try this place for a manual

Try powering the unit off and on. The toner indicator does not always reset immediately in my experience
