i see u have quite a few people having trouble with making phone calls and the person on the other line cant hear them however the caller can hear them perfectly well
well... i have the same problem!!!
ur answer was to buy a bluetooth ear piece??, correct?
but, buying a phone to make calls and it doesnt even do its main function (calling out) is very frustrating.
I mean isnt the whole point of a phone, is for one to hear you on the other line?
please help me my phone is getting to my last nerve
If it's a software issue, a hard reset should cure the problem: http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/How_do_I_reset_my_BlackBerry%3F
If that doesn't fix it, you need a new microphone. You can try to fix the blackberry yourself or send it to a repair service which are plentyful on the web.

Hopefully this will work for your 7100G because it seems to work for my Blackberry Curve 8330 Smartphone.
The problem is a well known bug in the device OS.
It occurs when certain types of audio files (like music) are interrupted. The speaker is not released correctly.
The work around is to just activate Voice Activated Dialing (the service that allows you to 'tell' the phone to do something, like call someone.) That will force the speaker free, allowing you to continue your call. Starting up the Voice Notes Recorder will also sometimes work.
The culprit is non-BlackBerry audio file. You can help prevent the problem from occurring by letting any audio files that you play reach their end.
Kudos to Reed McLay at forums.crackberry.com for this solution.

What you should do is take the phone and have the microphone replaced.
GUEST - replace the microphone

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
