Some games requires higher video card memory, you must look for the requirements for that game! I suggest if ur a GAMER, buy a HiGHER memory PCI video card! Taaah!

Video card does not work and PCIe red light remains on

To isolate, put your video card to the other pcie slot then see if it works. Try also to enable the video output of your motherboard either thru HDMI, DVI-D or vga since it is a H57 mobo to check if the motherboard is working properly and will output video ( not using your video card ) . Also reseat your RAMs ( remove and put it back again). If your video card does not work on the 2nd pcie slot after reseating your RAMs then the problem is with your video card and not your motherboard.

My hp computer is working slow with 4gb, the problem is with heavy programmes what can i do buy an video card?beacause when I go to some sites with music clips it's getting slower even vast stuck I meant?

1. Initially first identify which program is consuming more physical memory.
2. Slowness could be also due to virus attack.

Please confirm me on the 1st part.

Video cards are causing 3 beeps

The 3 short beeps indicates a video card memory problem.
The video card uses video RAM that is part of the video card. Try reseating the video card and if the problem is not resolved then the fault is the video card and it needs to be replaced.

To increase the memory of the graphics card.

Hello. When you turn your computer on there should be an option to enter the BIOS/setup(eg.:Press F1 for BIOS). From this menu there should be an option to change the shared/video memory. Make sure you press F10 after you change the shared memory size to save the changes. There is no download to give you more memory as it is a physical component rather than software. Also you could purchase an add-on video card. I believe the add-on cards are approaching 4GB of onboard memory. Hope this helps you :)

Need to disable internal video that isn't working

With internal video cards they normally automatically switch to PCI video cards that you put in without the need for switches or settings on the board. Just plug in the card and plug in the monitor on the card and you should be good. now if your board is one of the select few that require a change in the BIOS then you are out of luck. BUT, take note that 90% of the time that internal video cards do not work because of the memory. Take note that the memory that the internal video cards use is the memory on the board so you might want to check if your memory is working.

Video cards updates

if it is a onboard video then surely it won't work. onboard video does not support high graphics and direct 3d.
