I had an accident and broke the screen on my tv. Where can I get a replacement? From what I can tell there are two. The outer one which is broke looks like plain plexi glass and the inside one looks a little like a projector screen. That one is not broken. Any suggestions? There are no repaimen in my area.

It can be, but at quite the price. Screens are very expensive and can amount to 2/3rds the price of the TV. In most cases, count the warranty out, if you are still under one, unless you found a manufacturer that covers accidental damage. Do you have house insurance or accident insurance with your credit card company if you used it to buy the TV?
To be honest, most of those screens come as a whole unit, meaning both. I replaced my screen with one off of craigslist from someone parting out an RCA tv (www.craigslist.org, make sure to set it to your area) and even though it was a little bigger and I had to custom fit a few things, it worked great. The funny thing too is, places will tell you you need a diamond screen which you cannot buy, but if you just grab the screens out of another TV and throw them in,as long as you have both it will work just fine.
Your best bet is to do a search of your model on ebay, you will likely find one being sold for parts, because usually it's the video boards that go out ij them. So you should find one without a broken screen, but something else on it broken. And if you want to save shipping you can ask the seller to send you just the screen and trash the rest.
the outer screen on these units easly replaced. RCA #258797 their called supersheilds.. rca charges about 70 dollars for the item...If it is just that i have seen people just use a clear sheet of plexi. removeing the screens requires removein several torx 20 screw around the outer and remove the frame.. then the clear peice of plexi is attache with serval brackets.
