I have a Toshiba 65H82 and at first the picture was blurry but would clear up after about 10 mins now the picture just stays blurry. Can you tell me what the problem could be and if it is worth fixing it? Thanks

Hi,
Try adjusting the focus block this requires opening the back and front bezel of the TV. If it doesn't clear up after adjustment attempts then the liquid coolant inside each of the tubes need to be emptied and refilled with new coolant. Over time the coolant gets cloudy and can cause a blurry image with a white sheen. Contact me at the link below so I can help you further.....if this helps please rate:-)

Thank you:-)

My toshiba 65 rear projection is blurry and has dual image

The fluid that is used to cool the face of the 3 tubes has become clouded and discolored. This fluid is serviceable. I wouldn't try it myself if you've never done it before. A TV shop can do the job.

Toshiba Satellite C55-A text is blurry when on the internet

Is it windows 7 or 8? Internet Explorer modern (tablet mode), or desktop mode (the one that opens while on your desktop)? Internet Explorer 10 or 11? Ia the text very large or small? Does it only happen in Internet Explorer, or does text appear blurry in other apps? Are those apps desktop mode or tablet mode apps?

I have a 57 in toshiba rear projection, picture just started jumping and went out, if you put it on another imput for gaming the picture is there but is rounded and is jumpy could you tell me what is wrong...

Possibly not repairable, because many problems are related to a board called the "hyper" board, which is mostly no longer available.-- Most picture problems other than convergence or a bad tube, which doesn't sound like yours.

Toshiba 65h82

check the screen voltages goinfg to all three tubes. Another thing you could try is unplug the crt socket to the red and see if the other tubes stay lit . There ia a possiblity that the red tube could be over powering and shutting the others off or down.

Toshiba 65h82 picture trouble

Its most likly the Hi voltage/focus block assy. Or there are bad capacitors in the sweep power supply. You should call toshiba and get the number of an authorized Toshiba repair shop.

Wavy picture

this is caused by a bad convergence module, and there are probably some dried out electrolytic caps in the circuit as well. i have one in the shop right now that came in with the same problem. if you have it serviced, make sure they replace all of the convergence modules (there are usually 2, but sometimes 3 of them), because if one went bad the other(s) is likely to go out soon as well.
