Xbox 360 HDDVD Player

OK, I recently bought the HDDVD player which is compatible with the Xbox 360. I realised soon after, well where I live anyway, HDDVDs are virtually non existant. so i ordered one on amazon and it delivered. After installing the HDDVD player with my Xbox 360 it says that it is ready, so i put in a HDDVD and all i get is a message which pops out of the left side of the screen saying that there is a disc error?!?!?! Plus it then recognises it as an unplayable disc. I dont understand why it wont work, can anyone please help me!!!!! :o(

HD DVDs are regionless, one reason why they lost the war to blue ray. I've had wierd problems with my hd dvd drive too. I went to the system blade and cleared the memory for the hd dvd drive. This seemed to fix things for me. If it needs to get updates for movies, it will get them again.

Hi,

Check the region code of the disc against your consoles region code, if they don't match it won't it.

Also have you installed the updates for the HD Player, if not either download them via Xbox live or download them from here and copy to disc:

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My xbox is banned from xbox live

If you made a new account for yourself and it wont work, try to delete the old ones. If that doesn't work, contact customer support and see if they can tell why it's banned and if you can have it removed as you are not the original owner.

My son saved money and bought a Xbox 360 Arcade. He did not realize that he could not play his xbox games on his new system. Is there an upgrade to allow old xbox games to be played on on the xbox 360

Some game are compatible with the new xbox 360. They are called backwards compatible and you do need to flash upgrade the OS on the new xbox 360 system.

You need to go to the xbox website and go to support and download the flash update then burn it to disk and put it on the xbox to update the software. Again not all old games are compatible with the new xbox system. If your buying used games like I do make sure it says bc next to the title before buying them.
Here is the link to the upgrade

Salutations LHmom,

Because your using laptop computers and a mobile carrier for your internet services this will be a little harder then normal but not imposable.

First what you would need is a ethernet switch or hub. This should allow you use the laptop with the Verizon card as a "Gateway". You would then connect the Xbox 360 to the hub and it would share the internet from the laptop.

Windows XP, and Vista have nice networking wizards that can walk you through the settings. But be aware you may need to change the settings back when you are not using the Xbox 360.

Hope this helps.
