Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My Samsung galaxy s4 is region locked and I put an Australian Vodafone sim in it and now its locked

You should put back the original sim and it should work. You can ask Vodafone for the sim unlock code, but they only will give that if the contract is over. Perhaps, when you can explain you have to go abroad they will give it sooner. With the vodafone sim in it you then should enter the code. But they will explain how.
Some (less legal) sites offer unlock codes for a fee, but it not always works.

I desperately need the unlock code for my samsung solstice SGH-A887. My daughter got ahold of it and im not exactly sure what happened... My IMEI # is 35704403905790/3 02 Please...

Hi,
I thing your daughter trying change your original sim card with other sim card, maybe she need to call her boyfriend :D. Don't worry you can get samsung sgh-t239 unlock code from your network provider and you must prepare your account details since they will ask about that, if you want instant samsung unlock code you can buy from third party sites.

My samsung F266 phone says unregistered sim card because i took the battry and the sim out for less then 5 min so what can i do now

hi,
You will have to make sure the battery and sim card are both properly placed. This means the sim card should fit perfectly into it's slot and the battery has to lap over it perfectly as well.
If this does not work then you may try using another sim card in the phone or you try using the sim on another phone to check if it is the sim that has the fault.
most of the time it is either the sim is not properly placed or the sim card is gone bad.

Sim card on motorola L6 mobile ran out of credit - have replaced it with 2 in credit sims but get the message insert sim each time - reinserting the original sim I now get the same message - what have I...

if it's a 'pay-as-you-use' or prepaid phone- you don't need a new SIM, you need to go online and have time added to your SIM! you may be able to buy a 'time' card at a retailer-wal-mart, etc. and call an 800# and add time to your phone. if you don't have a 'land-line' phone- you can get online and enter the code on the 'time' card.
perhaps this particular motorola model is different, replacing the SIM without adding time will give you a useless phone!! you shouldn't need to replace the SIM, unless it goes bad!! try going online to motorola
site, add time tab and go from there. you need a bank account to pay and the knowledge to find your SIM # from your phones menu selections! they'll want that, and if you have purchased a 'time' card, have it handy- as you'll need to enter that #! nothing's ever simple!!
good luck!!

When a Sim is inserted the nokia phone ask for restriction code

The restriction code is the code you will need to enter using the keypad to allow the device to work with a SIM from a provider other than the one that originally sold the phone. To get this restriction removed you will need to request it from the original provider (Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, etc). It is helpful if you are a subscriber to their service as they will often provide it at no cost if you are.

The 6300 is a Nokia BB5 type phone which means the on-line unlock code calculators will not be of any use. If you can not sweet talk the oriignal provider into giving you the code you may want to take it to a shop to have them hook it up to a computer or a clip to alter the firmware so it no longer is locked.

Alternatively you can acquire one of the x-SIM style unlocking devices that fits in the tray between the gold contacts and the SIM and fools the phone into thinking the appropriate SIM is present. Since the 6300's SIM holder is fully exposed and the SIM is locked down by a bale that uses a positive lock this is probably the best way to manage this problem absent the code from the original provider. If you need additional information feel free to follow up with another question. I don't sell any x-SIM or unlocking services.

Good luck!

IPHONE SHOWING INCORRECT SIM AND ASKING FOR APPROVED SIM

This was attempted on 5.11.2008
Hi I was using ziphone with 1.1.4 firmware and wanted to use Quickpwn 2.1. I restored my Iphone from I tunes by clicking and holding SHIFT then hitting restore in I tunes and after it rebooted it asked me to insert original sim-card. I inserted my pay as you go O2 sim-card, which it was happy with. I went to upgrade to 2.1.1 firmware but it asked me to upgrade to the latest I tunes. After updating I tunes I then uploaded the firmware 2.1.1 I then followed the procedures exactly as explained from QuickPwn, everything worked fine. It came to the end which also unlocked the phone but when putting in the unofficial sim-card, it said “Please insert original sim-card.
