Problem is either the cartridge or the fuser. Put paper in the manual feed tray(tray 1) Print something. When the paper gets 1/2 way into the printer, open the top cover. Pull out the toner, look down at the paper. If it has the smudge replace the toner. If no smudge, replace the fuser.
How do I clean white or black spots on printed documents?
Description:First make 10 to 15 copies of a blank, white sheet of paper.
If you still see the spots on printed documents after making multiple copies, clean the drum unit as follows:
Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly, and then remove the toner cartridge from the drum unit.
the print sample in front of the drum unit so you will know the exact
position on the drum that is causing the poor print.
Turn the black gear on the drum as you check the surface of the OPC drum.
The OPC drum is photosensitive so do not touch it with your fingers.
you find the substance on the drum surface that matches the print
sample, gently dab the surface of the OPC drum with a cotton swab that
is lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
Do not use a scrubbing or wiping motion because this might damage the drum.
Do not try to clean the surface of the OPC drum with a sharp
object, such as a ball-point pen, because this might cause permanent
damage to the drum unit.
If the print quality still has not improved you need to install a new drum.
The toner cartridge or the fuser. The best course of action would be to remove the fuser with the power off and line up a sheet with the problem with the fuser to see if possible to line up the mark and see if the fuser has a like defect in that position. I use inches but it is possible 79-80mm would be the edge of an envelope if you print them and I have seen instances where some envelopes over time cause a line on the fuser which then shows up on regular paper.

One more Method to sort out.
1. If a duplexer is installed, remove it. If a duplexer is not installed, remove the tray 2 dust cover from the rear of the printer by pulling from the bottom.
2 Remove the rear cover/rear output bin. 3. Rotate the two blue levers on the fuser assembly up to the unlocked position.
4 Pull the fuser assembly straight out of the printer.end chek de fuser.
5. When reinstalling the fuser assembly, be sure the blue levers are initially in the unlocked position.
6 Make sure the fuser assembly is seated fully before rotating the blue levers down into the locked position.

You either have some white out or some other dirt on the scanner or some sections of the scanner are bad. Open the area where your originals feed into, and look for about a 1/2 inch wide strip of glass, that is the scanner window. When that gets dirty, or fails, that causes the problem. Most likley dirty, some whiteout or ink on the scan window.
Pleas check the imagine unit drum, is it clean or does there are the same marks as in paper.
if yes, the IU drum cleaning or drum itself is damaged and needs to be replaced.
after sending a print job, when printer has take a paper from tray, open cover, open cover before the paper enter the fusing unit, then you can see, if the mark is allready in the paper then the problem is in the IU or toner cartridge, if not, then fusing unit rollers.
