LOL, maybe you are low on disk space. Click Start/My Computer and right click on your local c drive to see how much space is available. If not much space is left that will certainly slow you down.
Also if the hard drive needs to be defragged that will slow you down, but you've got to have enough space left (15%) to run a defrag.
Also you might have a virus or infection that is slowing you down. So you might want to clean the computer by scans.
Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download andinstall malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When thesite opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do notclick the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the GuiInterface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version orDecline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run aQUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be inred. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad textdocument will open up showing you the results. You can close the textdocument and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTEDRESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When itfinishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot yourmachine.
Internet speed is dependent on the provider. If you have DSL and there are several people or computers using the Internet, it will be slow. Your HP610 has enough processing power and LAN speed to get online fast. If you have had this laptop two days, was it always slow? Or did it become slow? If it became slow, go to Malwarebytes.org and scan your laptop for malware. If you do not have a malware prevention program on the laptop, it will get trojans which will slow it down to a crawl. You can see the various products to prevent this here.
This is not a computer problem, but rather a problem of the game setup.
Start your game and go to "setup" or "options" or something like that. One of the options will be related to "mouse speed" or "mouse sensitivity". Turn the speed or sensitivity down a couple of notches, save the new settings and try the game again.
How long since you've run the computer? Might it be processing and update like when it reboots after installing a service pack? That might be making the computer run slow for a few minutes. Give it a little time to get started and see if your mouse and keyboard begin to work.
Hello my name is Tim Ehrhart, to slow your cursor speed go to controll panel and click mouse, then click pointer options and adjust the pointer speed. I hope this helps you and please leave feedback as I am new and am trying to gain a awesome rep.
You may have your mouse Double-click sensitivity set too fast
Go to Control Panel> mouse> in there move the bar closer to the slow adjustment. You can test your clicking on the box to the right of the adjustment.
Try this and let me know. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
replace the keyboard with one from eBay that would be the least costly way to repair the problem. sounds like the cable has been damaged for the keyboard to motherboard interface. have you tried connecting a mouse to the usb port or the ps2 port on the back? that may solve the problem if you don't want to replace the keyboard
