My Samsung 2232BW will not display a picture either. The blue power LED is blinking rapidly, about twice/second. Went through troubleshooting in manual, but blinking at this high rate not described. Other monitors work with the computer. Cable checks out OK too. Shouldnt this monitor have lasted more than two years?????

Solution for Samsung SyncMaster 2232BWplus: Blinking power button.
The problem is bad capacitors: 5 pcs. 820microFarad – 25v and 1 pc. 330microFarad -25v. Replace these capacitors. Then re-solder the two transformers of inverter side. Also re-solder the power transformer and the inductor coil.
To open the casing:
At the bottom of the stand just twist the knob to unlock. Then pry by using a small flat screw driver beginning from the bottom (left or right) then using a hard credit card (or alike) then slide/glide it in between the cover plastics.
Good luck.

Try on diffrent PC if this works, plug it back in to the PC where it does not work, if it still does not work you need to reseat your grpahics card, still does not work? check the cabling, then finally if that doe snot work you PC is faulty.

Make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust built up or in the socket if you remove your graphics check the socket to make sure its dust free Restart your computer then reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard Check the vga lead for secure dust free connection or try another vga lead.

Power blue light flashing when i turn the computer on

It depends on where the blue light is. Is the blue light on the monitor or on the computer tower? If it is on the monitor the monitor is having problems and needs to be serviced. If it is on the tower it could be an issue with the power supply.

Power light blinks but the screen is black and won't come on.

is it an LCD monitor?
if so then it's more than likely the backlight tubes or the backlight tubes inverter supply has died is it fixable but i am not sure how much it will cost you at your local repairer and monitors are so cheap these days its probably not worth it!
hope this helps,ben
