Question about Portable Televisions
I doubt its a chip becuase if it was that hot chaip it would not be hot! For sure!
But what might be the issue is a bad hat, or laser foacus or even the laser itself. Its hard to tell I am not there but DVD players are a dime a dozen I am willing to bet if its 3 to 4 years old it might have past its prime. Even cheap branded players do not last 1 year so keep that in mind. fixing this will set you back in the financial of it. I would search other alternitives if this is a bad laser.
Thanks and please do leave postive feedback for those expert that are involved with your case today.

This is an
indication that you have a short on the power supply section. It can't be fixed
by replacing the fuse alone. Short usually near the AC line where parts like
the following are present.
This is the common parts that might be shorted and made the fuse
blew. #2-5 is quite technical and need an expert to do the job so I've advice
you to look for a qualified technician to isolate the problem. You may visit
the link http://www.fixya.com/support/r8053361-fuse_keeps_blowing for more info.
Check also if your unit is under warranty, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free or a little charge only.
Hope it may help you.
Have a nice day!
